Qualifications Basic Requirements: ?PhD degree in Plant Breeding or Genetics with at least 2 years’ experience designing and conducting field-oriented breeding experiments; or PhD in Agronomy or related field, with at least 3 years’ plant breeding work experience; or MSc in plant breeding with at least 7 years’ experience in breeding or trait integration related areas is acceptable. ?Excellent knowledge of plant genetics and plant breeding with preference towards row crops. ?Excellent knowledge of plant genome，molecular genetics，and marker assisted breeding. ?Able to develop and lead a medium-sized group effectively. ?Excellent comprehension of experimental design and implementation of field trials; ability to effectively manipulate, summarize and interpret large data sets based on phenotypic characterization of germplasm. ?Excellent interpersonal and networking skills. ?Excellent English communication skills. ?Greenhouse management experience is a plus. ?Flexibility for frequent travel. In this role, travel may average 25% but can be up to 75% in busier months.
