We are looking for a new colleague Sales Manager for our Test Systems BU Industrial Technology Division at our location of Qingdao, Shandong.
Your tasks:
- Main Objectives: Actively driving and managing the sales and project management process for China customers with good skills in technology evaluation stage of the sales process. Working in close cooperation with the ZF sales/engineering team in the HQ in Germany as the key technical advisor and product advocate for complex automated test equipment and drive system.
- Relationship building, new customer development, regular customer care and contact.
- Sales and project management for ZF Test Systems: like: development and delivery of product demonstrations; Representing the products to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc. Respond to and understand functional and technical elements of RFQ′s, quotations and specifications; Convey customer requirements to overseas product management and teams.
- Conduct customer and market analysis, analysis of factors influencing the business environment.
- Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in sales for automation and drives and has knowledge of technology. Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally both in orally and in written responses to emails, RFQs, and when submitting reports. Be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
- Min. 5 years in project management / sales for test or production equipment company. Engineering degree in electrical engineering, test equipment or mechatronics or related.
- English Fluent, Germany is not required, would be a plus. Skilled of MS office programs. Experienced in soft- and hardware for electric drive systems and sensor applications.
- Active in communication, building of internal and external network. Ability to work under little supervision. Reliability of task completion and follow-up of pending issues.
- Willingness for business travel within China and to Germany.
