Job Responsibilities
1. To undertake a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the International Development Office and working in close liaison with other related units;
2. To assist with promotion, consultation and preparation for semester study abroad opportunities and disseminate relevant information to students prior to their applications and departure. Provision of a professional and effective first point of contact via telephone and email for all queries;
3. To assist with the implementation of program operational procedures, especially crosschecking all data and documents;
4. To assist with international student recruitment, including but not limited to promotion, advising, document-checking;
5. To assist in organizing social events and activities for students;
6. To greet visitors by addressing visitor questions and needs and providing an overall welcoming environment;
7. To prepare meeting documents and take minutes;
8. Any other duties assigned by Director of International Development Office.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree, preferably with overseas study or work experience.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
3. Excellent understanding of general administrative procedures and processes.
4. Prior experience in an international or tertiary education environment preferred.
5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and use initiative to deal with difficult situations.
6. Accuracy and attention to detail; Proven strong team working skills.
