Job Summary Under general supervision the E-house Engineer provides all analysis, coordination and control for the processing of engineered E-house. This includes analyzing order specifications, drawings, resolving and documenting exceptions and questions, leading technical clarifications, manage sub vendors, instructing and coordinating mechanical and electrical work, coordinating activities during manufacturing, assembly, and test, making changes and revisions. Support project manager on the the commercial aspects of the order, change order recognition, risk assessment, lead time control, quality control, etc. Provide technical and engineering support to Rockwell Automation Field Sales Offices for the deliverables. Key Responsibilities ?The E-house Engineer will review customer specifications and drawings including electrical/structure/HVAC/Fire&Gas/etc., (one-lines, layout, structure drawing, HVAC PID, F&G philosophy), for correctness and completeness and resolve discrepancies. ?The E-house Engineer is responsible for preparing concept design, layout with equipment, solution optimization. ?Collation and transfer all necessary information to sub vendors, such weight/heat dissipation/cable entry/etc. ?Review sub-vendor’s documents, identify the discrepancies and make comments. ?Lead technical clarification meeting with both customer and sub vendor. ?Provide the customer with the required documentation package. ?Provide field assistance at E-house yard or site when required to ensure project success and customer satisfaction. ?Develop LV electrical diagrams when required. ?Provide technical assistance to internal/external customers. ?Responsible for verifying that the Customer’s purchase order, and feedback to Project Manager. ?Attend internal and external FAT. ?Provide assistance and coordination with Expeditor and Manager or Supervisor. ?Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws. Policies and procedures include, but not limited to: Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network. ?Support project Manager on order transfer from commercial engineer or sales. Assist Project Manager to handle kick off meeting with related department according to project schedule. Work with Project Manager to make sure the project delivery will match margin, delivery date and quality requirement compare with as sold proposal or order. Job related competencies ?Functional Contributes Professional & Technical Expertise Electrical background with E-house experience, AutoCAD design experience preferred ?Interpersonal Communicates Effectively Good English written and speaking ?Business Attains Results Focus on project delivery ?Leadership Thinks & Acts Strategically Act as Owner Take lead for project technical management EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE ?B.S.
