China Sales Development Representative
About our client:
Headquartered in France and with over 50 years of history, our client established itself as a significant player
in the specialty chemicals sector, especially in the aerospace - related chemical solutions domain. As of 2024,
the company employs over 470 people and its products include surface treatments, surface pre-treatment,
functional coatings, non-destructive testing, shims, and sealants. It serves original equipment manufacturers
(OEMs) and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) facilities in the aerospace industry. Since entering
the Chinese market in 1997, the company has experienced rapid development domestically and built a
highly - competent team.
To further strengthen its position and accelerate the growth of the Chinese aviation OEM market, the
company is seeking a China Sales Development Representative in Yangtze River region.
Responsibilities:
? Devise growth strategies and plans to strengthen the company's position in China's Aviation Industry.
? Manage the sales operations within the aviation OEM industry, with a specific focus on the sales of surface
pre-treatment products in military and civil aviation sectors. Additionally, be responsible for expanding
the sales of sealant products from scratch.
? Assist company in following up the technical certification processes, covering alkaline washing, acid
washing, aluminum anodizing and sealant products.
? Work closely with the company’s technical engineer to complete and implement the projects that are
currently in progress.
? Identify and develop new business opportunities and sales channels to create additional revenue streams
? Gather market intelligence to ensure the company remains competitive and profitable in China.
? Gain a thorough understanding of the technical properties and application procedures of products in
the Chinese market.
? Analyze sales performance and provide regular reports on market activities and achievements to
management.
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree is required. While candidates with a chemistry background are preferred, those with
degrees in other fields will also be considered.
? Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Aviation sector, demonstrating a track record of successful
sales growth and business development within this sector.
? Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and uphold values such as collaboration, proficient
communication, transparency, and a strong sense of responsibility.
? Skilled in price negotiation and concluding sales contracts.
? Proficient in using Excel spreadsheets, writing regular visit reports, creating PowerPoint presentations, and
possess other specific presentation skills.
? Chinese nationality, possessing a fluent level of both written and spoken English.
? Ideally working in Shanghai, candidate living and working remotely in Yangtze River Area is acceptable
