Job Description:
CEA is a fast-growing company in an exciting and dynamic industry. The Quality Supervisor will lead the effort to develop, maintain and improve the internal quality plan for CEA’s Quality Control service for PV modules, monitor the quality of work performed by CEA’s Project Operations team. The Quality Supervisor will work across all internal teams involved and interact with suppliers and testing laboratories, with a focus on improving internal quality, acting independently of the execution teams, and adhering to CEA’s quality excellence strategy. The Quality Supervisor will report directly to one of TQ’s Senior Managers tasked with internal quality plan improvement but will also report in a dotted (functional) manner to other Senior Managers involved in internal quality plan improvement.

The Quality Supervisor will lead the effort to develop, maintain and improve the internal quality plan for CEA’s Quality Control service for PV modules, monitor the quality of work performed by CEA’s Project Operations team. The Quality Supervisor will work across all internal teams involved and interact with suppliers and testing laboratories, with a focus on improving internal quality, acting independently of the execution teams, and adhering to CEA’s quality excellence strategy. The Quality Supervisor will report directly to one of TQ’s Senior Managers tasked with internal quality plan improvement but will also report in a dotted (functional) manner to other Senior Managers involved in internal quality plan improvement.
Major Responsibilities
1. Serve as the quality leader for the execution of internal quality control plan, monitor and inspection CEA’s QC service according to quality plan and take corrective actions as needed,
a. Regularly review key quality control point, in methods including but not limited to:
? Project reports review.
? Sudden inspection at project site.
? Review internal quality data and take implement action.
b. Support cross-team work to solve internal quality issues including root cause investigation and corrective action proposal.
c. Support cross-team work to solve external quality issues from CEA’s clients and partner that may potentially result in CEA’s internal quality issues or client complaints.
d. Collect feedback from CEA’s partners (manufacturers, labs, etc.) report abnormality to manager and director.
2. Assess team member in Project Operation (PO) team:
a. Jointly assess new hire in PO team at the end of probation.
b. Support manager and director to assess the quality related KIP of PO members regularly based on regular quality data collected from projects.
3. Run external laboratory testing platform of CEA
a. Collect external lab testing demand from different QC projects in CEA according to different project requests, translate project demand into standard industry language form.
b. Arrange and coordinate external lab testing per CEA’s external lab testing policies
c. Collect testing report from external labs, ensure the compliance of report content and deliver the reports internally to the corresponding projects.
d. Support manager and director to maintain relationship with laboratory partners as well as keep updated on latest testing technologies.
4. Other Tasks assigned by the Senior Director and supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
? Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
? Self-starter who works independently and is highly self-motivated
? College degree in engineering / technical / business administration
? Fluent oral and writing Chinese and English
? Familiarity with lab testing technologies in PV industry
? Prior two (2) years quality experience in PV industry, required
