RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Act as the main point of material trends and new material research provider

2. Build up Plush material swatches library in SH & GZ and share to US team in monthly basics

3. Connect with new Plush suppliers and look for comp/OTS sample for design selection

4. Communicate closely with the US Product Development Team, contract manufacturers, material and component suppliers, and internal stakeholder ensure production schedule and turnaround timeframe are on time
與美國產品開發團隊、合同制造商、材料和部件供應商以及內部利益相關者密切溝通,確保生產計劃和周轉時間的準時性。
5. Monitor the entire product cycle from conceptual stage to first order completion

6. Work with the Industrial Design and Product Development Teams in the US on new product feasibility from design, manufacturing, functional feasibility, and budgeting

7. Ensure new product is in accordance with global standards in terms of safety and reliability

8. Compile the RFQ, review costing BOM, and perform timeline scheduling and tracking of critical milestones and key release dates

9. Oversee the development of product prototypes and testing to assess all possible failures

10. Provide recommendations on the best manufacturing methods and processes to ensure on time production and cost efficiency

REQUIREMENT:
1. Bachelor qualification, Textile Technology or Fashion and Clothing engineering or related major.
本科學歷,紡織技術或時裝和服裝工程或相關領域相關專業優先
2. Minimum 3 years relevant experiences with plush toys design and manufacturing experiences is preferred
有3年以上毛絨玩具設計和制造的相關經驗者優先考慮
3. Strong product and material knowledge with good sourcing skill
具有豐富的產品和材料知識以及良好的采購技巧
4. Strong understanding of the engineering process from conceptual to product completion, including testing and user acceptant test performance

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
